This is part of a personal project on the relationship between Heavy Metal and Tolkien. I’m focusing on 46 (and I’m sure there’s many more) metal bands who reference Tolkien, and I’m simply drawing members of said bands as characters in Tolkien’s Universe. Not that conceptually amazing, but fun nonetheless. It’s an ongoing project, so they’ll show up here every once in a while. Here is Marco Hietala (of Nightwish, Tarot, Northern Kings etc.) as Beorn.
